Sipalay City

Sipalay City - More than just a Jewel of Southern Negros Occidental,
It is a Treasure Trove!!!

If there is one thing I would like about Sipalay City, is about its geographical resemblance to Rio de Janeiro of Brazil, minus the mega population. Sipalay City is around 4-5 hours Bus Travel from Bacolod City ( The Islands Main Entry Point ). I hope the Kabakanlan City Domestic Airport will be finished so that after you land via plane, its going to cut the travel time to 1.5 hours.

I started to love Sipalay City from my first trip last April of 2001. Everything then is so tranquil, quiet, so surreal. Anyway, now it has a thriving Economy focused on Tourism, Environment, and Preserving the Sweet Life here in Negros.

Sipalay is great for almost all kind of Sports by the beach and Mountain Slopes. Biking, Swimming, Snorkeling, Spelunking, Kayaking, Rowing, Skim Boarding, etc.

Sipalay is a good location for People who have Yacht's.  Poblacion Beach is one good Location.

Here are the Photo's and Video I took during my trips there.

I hope the owner would decide to have this revived to its former Glory. This is the Venue of the Most Affluent during its time. We need to encourage a great deal of effort from both the city and the concerned Bacolodnons or Negrense, this is our Heritage. This is Us.
